Premier Elite ComWiFi Product Discontinuation
Texecom is discontinuing the Premier Elite ComWiFi, and will be replaced by the SmartCom.
The Premier Elite ComWiFi has been replaced by the Texecom Connect SmartCom. The Texecom Connect SmartCom is a superior communicator combining Ethernet and WiFi communications using cloud services, simplifying installation and removing port-forwarding. The Texecom Connect SmartCom is required for use with the Texecom Connect App.
Mirage Series Detectors Product Discontinuation
Texecom is discontinuing the Mirage Series of motion detectors.
The Mirage Series pioneered s-band dual technology motion sensing technology but has been replaced by the superior Premier Elite range of detectors.
As a consequence, the vast majority of Texecom customers are already using the widely acclaimed Premier Elite DT dual technology detector.
Premier Elite OP16 Discontinuation
Texecom is discontinuing the Premier Elite OP16 output expander.
The Premier Elite OP16 duplicates functionality found in Premier Elite 8XP expanders, and customers have shown to overwhelmingly prefer using Premier Elite 8XP for both output and zone expansion.
